Challenging proteins: Lessons learned from a large protein dataset

The vast diversity of proteins poses challenges for high-throughput analytical approaches, as certain proteins may exhibit compatibility issues, leading to inaccurate readings. We have pinpointed specific trends in protein sample properties that significantly impact the accuracy and consistency of protein quantification outcomes. We used these insights to generate key considerations and best practices for setting up high-throughput protein characterization workflows.
